VetSimple was founded in Ontario by veterinary professionals who lived the frustrations of relief work firsthand — opaque pay, last-minute cancellations, and platforms built for everyone except the clinician.
Our Mission
To make veterinary relief work simple, transparent, and fair — for the professionals who deliver care and the clinics that depend on them.
Why We Built This
Relief veterinary work in Ontario is a growing part of how clinics stay staffed and how professionals maintain flexibility. But the infrastructure supporting it hasn't kept up. Rates were hidden until the last minute. Payments moved slowly. Matching was done through word-of-mouth or generalist job boards that didn't understand the profession.
We set out to fix that. VetSimple is purpose-built for Ontario's veterinary community — with CVO and OAVT licence verification baked in, transparent rates set by the professional, and direct payment from clinic to clinician.
We're a small team with deep roots in veterinary practice. We're not a staffing agency. We don't take a cut of your rate. We build tools that get out of your way so you can focus on the work.
